You are a Shining Star, no matter where you are!

Dear Praise Dancers:

Earth Wind and Fire first sang this song in the ’70’s. The song was called “Shining Star” and most of us loved the motivational lyrics behind the song.  This message is simple. ImageWe are all important to the Body of Christ, so it should not matter where you stand in dance formation. Some will be on the front, some one the back rows and if the dance team is large enough, some will even decorate the aisles. That is just the way that it is.
We all want to shine, little Christy wants her mother to see her dance, and Sis. Chante wants her husband to see her, but that is irrelevant. God is looking for true worshippers. He is too busy reading our hearts. If your heart is not directed to the Almighty in praise and thanksgiving, he is not going to accept our praise. It does not matter if our parents do not see us, but it is important if God sees us.
When the praises go up, the blessings are reciprocated back to you. In short, when the praises go up, the blessings come down. God has to accept our praise, that is contingent on whether others will feel our anointing or not. If we are dancing to impress an individual, we are not anointed while doing this dance, to put it simply “a double-minded man is unstable in all His way.” Our focus should be on Christ, not on whether or not man is impressed.
We all are shining stars, little beacons of hope using our bodies to share a message to the people of God, we are all important, it doesn’t matter the place where we are standing while dancing. Just be glad that you are part of a team and together you are helping to draw souls to the body of Christ.
